Starting Spring off with a bang!

...and by "a bang" I mean conjunctivits... in both eyes. Ahh, my mortal enemy pink eye, we meet again. Have at you! 
I woke up this morning and my eyes were stuck shut. My eyelashes were covered in goo (eeeeeeeeew!) and they were so stuck together that i had to actually make an effort to peel them apart. My contacts are infected, so now I get to wear my glasses everywhere! Yay! I've sat on them so many times that when I'm wearing them the left lens is halfway up my face.
I'm STILL on crutches... sweet mercy. I went for a post op a few weeks ago and the ortho said it "Looks great! I can't even see the fracture anymore; it's healing like gangbusters!" And by that he meant 6 more weeks on crutches. Of course, he wasn't the ortho that actually did the surgery, so I imagine that he would exaggerate the estimate a bit for liability reason. I am allowed to put 1/4 to 1/3 of my weight on the leg... not sure how to measure that.
I HAVE cheated, though, and I've put all my weight on it a few times, just to prove to myself that I won't collapse and die when I can OFFICIALLY walk. So far it's been *counts* 9 weeks since my accident. My god that's a long time! I'm going for another post-op on Friday, this time with MY ortho. Hopefully I can walk, even if it's with those stupid Darth Vader-looking walker boots. 
In other news, I'm now done reposting the stuff I took down. I haven't posted ALL of the photos because I don't feel all of them are post-worthy; I may post them as scraps. Hopefully I'll get back to shooting (once my leg is fully healed) before everyone forgets I exist.

OK, to everyone that faved and commented on my stuff or added me to your friends list, THANK YOU! I've been on every now and then, but I just haven't had the energy to go and thank everyone individually. I really do appreciate the support. 
In other news, I'm still on crutches and they suck worse every day. I will officially be walking again in a couple weeks, though... but damn, this is going to be the longest two weeks EVER! As soon as I'm able I'll be doing a Scotty Jig.
